Band of Brothers Cast Interviews: Part 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Part 1
- In this segment, Shane Taylor talks about getting back into acting since taking time out after the completion of Band Of Brothers.

Part 2
- In this segment, Shane Taylor talks about how he got the part of medic Eugene Roe and about his new movies Bomber & Devils Playground. He also talks about his band.

Part 3
- In this segment, Shane talks briefly about boot camp and about the Cajun accent he used when portraying medic Eugene Roe.

Part 4
- In this segment, Shane pays tribute to the man behind his character, medic Eugene ‘Doc’ Roe.

Part 5
- In this segment, Shane talks about his scenes with the French nurse and about meeting Stephen Spielberg.

Movie update: “Bomber”

I received a newsletter from Bomber which includes some great information about Bomber‘s release date and airings!

Bomber has just been released by Film Movement in North America in selected Theaters and on Video on Demand. It opens on the big screen in Chicago at the Gene Siskel Film Center on Friday, August 13th for a week. The full schedule can be seen here: www.siskelfilmcenter.org.

Bomber is also currently running on Video on Demand channels on Comcast, Time Warner, Cox, RCN and Bresnan and will play through September 9th across the country. Together these cable companies reach about 31 million homes. Beginning August 1st the film will play for 3 months on Verizon and Charter reach an additional 12 million homes.

Finally, the North American DVD release of Bomber has been announced for early Fall.

“Devil’s Playground” stills

While you all were no doubt listening to Shane’s interview (which I’ll update the site with once the interview goes online), I took the moment to upgrade the gallery to the brand new version of Coppermine. While I do believe everything upgraded correctly, please do let me know if you spot any errors. The new version of Coppermine is new even to me (it has a whole bunch of new features that I am not used to) so you’ll have to bear with me for a while till I can get a hang of it all! :]

In the meantime, I’ve uploaded two more stills from Devil’s Playground that we didn’t have to the gallery! Unfortunately they’re both in MQ but if I come across both in HQ I’ll replace them.

Band of Brothers “Currahee” Screencaptures

I have (finally) began capturing Band of Brothers! First up is part one “Currahee” – Shane wasn’t in a lot of scenes but you could spot him in the background of a couple scenes. I’ll be capping part two either later today or tomorrow.

Also, you may have noticed that I’ve updated the thumbnails in the gallery so everything is one size and sharpened. Let me know if any thumbs aren’t updated and I’ll redo them! :]

Ross is conducting interviews with several of the cast members from Band of Brothers for the 10 year reunion and Shane has agreed to partake in an interview! Sportstalker UK segment and behind the scenes

Back in 2008, Shane participated in Sportstalker UK which hilariously parodies sports talk shows. The show is directed and produced by Shane’s costar from Band of Brothers, Bart Ruspoli and you can view Shane’s segment here and the behind the scenes segment here.
